My vision for ARDA is to ensure that the ongoing projects and activities of ADRA are sustained and completed successfully. The following are brief descriptions of ongoing and future planned projects:
To continue to put into place the organizational structure that will support current and future growth and development of ARDA as a Non-profit entity. This will involve enhancement to the Constitution, Financial Policy procedures, historical documents, and formulation of a grant and proposal group.
Establishment of programs at the Parthena Askie Library to support the education system and other communities within Arthington. Example of programs includes conducting annual reading, writing, and speaking contests among students with awarding of prizes. The addition of a religion and historical section in the library to encourage use by other communities in Arthington.
Establishment of a preschool program in the Parthena Askie Library that will provide voluntary early childhood education to children preparing to enter kindergarten.
Bi-annual shipment of books, toys, medical and school supplies to Liberia for distribution to schools and the clinic in Arthington and its surrounding towns
The development of an annual donation fund to support the road maintenance project.
To substantially increase the number of active ARDA members.
